PERFORMANCE CONTRACT 2010
Charles E. Watson, Jr This contract for the personal services of musician(s) on the Engagement below is made on the day of _______/________/________, between the undersigned: herein called “Purchaser” and the performer(s), Hollow Council Band, herein called “Artist”. The Artist agrees to render to the Purchaser services and the Purchaser agrees to hire the Artist on the following terms and conditions: 1.

Engagement Program (nature of services to be rendered by Artist as per this

Engagement Compensation (full amount to be paid to Artist by Purchaser): $___________________ Purchaser shall pay a deposit in cash, bank cheque, or credit card of one-half of full amount at time of contract directly to Artist or Artist Management and the remainder one-half of full amount due shall be paid in cash, cheque, or credit card on or before conclusion of Engagement directly to Artist or Artist Management. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discovery credit cards are accepted online through the Artist’s PayPal account. A link to specific PayPal payment site will be provided as per arrangements. Amount of deposit received by Artist from
Purchaser:$_______________________________ If
payment of deposit by bank cheque is accepted by Artist or Artist
Management, monies are not considered received until cheque has cleared. In
the event of bank rejection of cheque for insufficient funds, this contract
is made void.
Remainder of full amount due, in cash, cheque or credit card, on or before
conclusion of Engagement: $__________________ 5. Artist will set up a table or booth on the venue premises and sell recordings and merchandise before, during, and after Artist Engagement Showtime. 6.
Recording of Engagement: No performance shall be recorded, reproduced or
transmitted in any manner without permission from Artist or Artist’s
Management.

It is hereby agreed that the undersigned Artist is an independent contractor
and not an employee of the 8. The agreement of the Artist to perform is subject to proven detention by sickness, accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of Nature (hurricane, flood, tornado, etc), or any other legitimate condition beyond control. If this occurs, Artist’s deposit shall be returned in full to Purchaser. 9. Purchaser understands that he/she is obligated to pay in full for services contracted of Artist unless it becomes impossible for the Purchaser to provide a place of performance due to acts of Nature (hurricane, flood, tornado, etc). Otherwise, regardless of circumstances of Engagement, remainder of full amount agreed upon in this contract is due to the Artist on or by the date of Engagement. 10. This contract shall be governed by the State of Arizona IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties here agree to the terms set forth above
